About Us

Creative Handworks, originally started in 1998 as a mail order fabric business, is an online fabric and sewing supply store based in Modesto, California.

Operated by three fun, creative sisters, the trio has been interested in sewing and textiles since childhood, often watching Mother and Grandmothers create many textile projects. This early exposure to fabric and sewing lit a spark of interest in the young sisters who grew to love apparel and quilting fabrics.

Today, the three siblings enjoy attending textile and quilting events, continually fueling their creativity and desire to craft fun fabric projects.

A portion of all sales will be donated to one of our favorite charities, Samaritan’s Purse.
